Typical uses are medical documents, spare parts between facilities, and customer replacements that cannot wait overnight. Weight and size limits are lower than line-haul parcel so the package fits a courier vehicle.

When Same-Day Metro Is the Right Service
Book Same-Day when
- Pickup and delivery are in the same served metro.
- The parcel must arrive today, not tomorrow.
- Weight and size fit courier limits.
Choose another service when
- Addresses are in different cities — use Express Overnight or Ground.
- Tomorrow morning is acceptable — use Express Overnight.
- The piece is pallet freight — book a freight shipment.
Coverage, Size, and Windows
Same-Day Metro is zone-based. A rate is only valid after both addresses clear coverage.

- Listed metros only. Out-of-zone addresses cannot be booked as same-day.
- Maximum weight
- Typically 50 lb per piece. Confirm at rating for your city.
- Pickup window
- Offered in hourly blocks. Late handoff can cancel the same-day commitment.

- Closed carton or envelope. No unsecured parts or open totes.
