Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California law lets you opt out of the “sale” of personal information and the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This page explains what those words mean at Vandelta and how to send the request.

What “sell” and “share” mean here

Vandelta does not rent or sell a list of shipper or consignee names and addresses as a product. We do not take payment from a data broker for your invoice file.

California still treats some advertising technology as a “share” or, in some cases, a “sale”: a cookie or pixel that lets another company recognize your browser across sites so ads can be measured or selected. If advertising cookies are on, that use may fall under this opt-out. Analytics cookies that never leave our measurement vendor for ads are described on Cookie Settings; you can turn those off there as well.

Completing a shipment requires us to give the address to the network that delivers it. That disclosure is to provide the service you asked for. It is not a sale, and this opt-out does not stop delivery scans or customs filings.

What the opt-out stops

Cross-context behavioral advertising cookies and related pixels on vandelta.com for the email, account, and browsers we can match.
Any future program that would sell personal information as California defines sale, unless you later opt in.

What it does not stop:

Printing labels, tracking, pickup, claims, or invoices.
Service email about a shipment you booked.
Necessary cookies. See Cookie Settings.
Disclosures the law requires, or disclosures to a vendor who only processes data for Vandelta under a service-provider contract.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing for that browser. You do not have to fill the form for that device. You still may submit the form if you want the opt-out tied to an email and account on our side, including other devices we can match to that email.

How to opt out

Use the form below, or Contact Us from the email on your account and state that you want to opt out of sale and sharing. We will verify the email. We apply the request within the time California allows, usually 15 business days for an opt-out of sale or sharing.

Authorized agents may submit with your signed permission. We may ask you to confirm. We will not take an opt-out from a random file of addresses with no proof.

After you opt out

Advertising cookies should stay off on browsers we can associate with the request. If you later turn advertising cookies on in Cookie Settings, that is a new choice for this browser. If you create a new account with a new email, submit again for that email.
