International Parcel and Document Shipping
Cross-border parcel and document shipping with transit times and rate estimates before you create a label.
Export Parcels With Transit Times Before You Print a Label
International Export moves documents and parcels from your origin to an address in another country. At rating you see transit days and cost, then complete commodity and value fields so the label and invoice match what is in the box.
Goods may be examined at export or import. Duties and taxes can be collected from the receiver depending on the destination and Incoterms you select. Restricted commodities are blocked at booking rather than at the dock.
Documents-only shipments still need a destination, a contents description, and a declared value of zero or nominal as required by the lane. For domestic next-day or ground, stay on Express or Ground.

What International Export Includes
- Door-to-door export for documents and parcels on published lanes
- Transit time and rate before the label is created
- Commercial invoice prompts for goods
- Tracking through export, line-haul, and delivery scans
- Electronic customs data where the destination accepts it
- Hold and clearance status visible in tracking when a shipment is delayed at the border
How to Book an Export Parcel
01
Enter destination and contents
Country, weight, value, and commodity details drive the rate and the export paperwork.
02
Review transit and duties guidance
Compare service levels. Duties and taxes may be due on arrival depending on the lane.
03
Print the export label
Attach the label and invoice. Schedule pickup or drop off the parcel before cutoff.
When International Export Is the Right Service
Book Export when
- The destination address is outside the country.
- You can describe contents, value, and country of origin.
- The item is allowed on the destination’s import list.
Choose another service when
- The destination is domestic — use Express Overnight or Ground.
- You are moving pallets, not parcels — book freight.
- You need a local same-day courier — use Same-Day Metro.
Documents, Value, and Limits
Export parcels need accurate paperwork. Incomplete commodity data delays clearance.
- Paperwork
- Commercial invoice for goods. Documents-only shipments use a contents statement at booking.
- Value
- Declare the selling price or fair market value. Under-declaring can stop the shipment at import.
- Maximum weight
- 150 lb (68 kg) per parcel unless the lane lists a lower cap.
- Restricted goods
- Batteries, aerosols, food, and medical products often need extra review. Check the restricted items guide before you pack.
