Freight and Logistics for Pallet and Truckload Moves

Move pallets, truckloads, stored inventory, and temperature-controlled freight. Get capacity and transit guidance before pickup.

How Freight Moves on the Network

Freight services move palletized goods, truckload lots, and inventory that does not fit a parcel carton. You request capacity by lane, equipment, and pickup date. Transit and cost are quoted before the freight is dispatched.

LTL shares trailer space when you have less than a full truck. Full truckload assigns a trailer to one shipment. Warehousing and fulfillment stores inventory, then picks and ships. Cold chain holds a stated temperature from pickup through delivery.

Freight is booked with weight, pallet count, class or commodity, and dock hours. Parcel labels are not used. If the piece is under parcel limits, use Document and Parcel Shipping instead.

  • LTL Freight for Palletized Shipments

Less-than-truckload freight for palletized goods that share trailer space, with dock pickup and a published transit window.

LTL (less-than-truckload) is for palletized freight that is too large for parcel and too small to fill a trailer. Your pallets are loaded with other shippers’ freight, moved through terminals, and delivered to a dock or stated site.

  • Full Truckload Capacity for Dedicated Moves

A dedicated trailer for one shipment when volume, security, or timing requires the unit not to mix with other freight.

Full truckload (FTL) assigns a trailer to a single shipper. Freight is loaded at origin, sealed, and delivered without terminal handling for other customers. Use it when cube or weight fills the unit, or when the commodity cannot ride with mixed LTL freight.

  • Warehousing and Fulfillment for Stored Inventory

Store inventory in a Vandelta facility, then pick, pack, and ship parcels or freight when orders are released.

Warehousing and fulfillment holds your inventory in a Vandelta building, then releases it as parcel or freight when an order is received. Inbound receipts are checked against the advance ship notice. Outbound uses the same parcel and freight network already on your account.

  • Temperature-Controlled Freight for Cold Chain

Freight held at a stated temperature from pickup through delivery for goods that cannot move in a dry trailer.

Cold chain freight uses refrigerated equipment set to a temperature you declare at booking. The trailer pre-cools, the product is loaded at that range, and delivery is to a dock that can receive it. It is used for food, some healthcare products, and chemicals that list a storage range.
