How Trade Work Sits on a Shipment
Trade services sit on top of parcel and freight. They cover clearance at the border, the documents and codes required to move goods legally, declared-value coverage if a shipment is lost or damaged, and inbound returns when goods come back.
Customs brokerage files entry and pays or accounts for duties on import. Trade compliance sets HS codes, restricted-party checks, and document rules before the label or bill of lading is cut. Insurance is declared value at booking — not a marketing policy. Returns logistics issues labels and routes inbound parcels or pallets to a stated facility.
These services do not replace a shipping service. An export parcel still books International Export. A pallet still books LTL or truckload. Trade work is the paperwork, coverage, and reverse flow around that move.

Declared-value coverage is purchased on the shipment, not as a stand-alone policy website. You enter the value of the goods at rating. The charge appears on the same invoice as the move. If the shipment is lost or damaged in Vandelta care, a claim can be filed up to that declared amount, subject to the terms on the bill or label.

Returns logistics is the inbound side of parcel and freight. A customer or store gets a return label or a bill of lading. The package or pallet is scanned into the Vandelta network and delivered to the address you name — a warehouse, a fulfillment building, or your dock.
