Shipping for Marketplace Sellers
Orders have a ship-by date. Print the label from the order, schedule pickup before cutoff, and post tracking back to the listing. Ground and Express Overnight cover most domestic cartons.
Match the Platform Cutoff, Not a Generic Transit Day
Marketplace sellers get rated on late ship and late delivery. The label must leave before the platform’s ship-by time, and the service level must match the delivery promise shown on the listing.
Connect rates through the developer tools or print from Create a Shipment using the order address. Multi-channel sellers keep one Address Book and one set of Shipping Preferences across storefronts.

How a Marketplace Order Ships
01
Pull the order address and pack date
Weight, dimensions, and destination set Ground or Express. The transit day must fit the buyer promise.
02
Print the label and tender before cutoff
Schedule pickup after pack-out, or drop at a location. Late tender is a late ship on the marketplace scorecard.
03
Post tracking and handle returns
Upload the tracking number to the order. Authorized returns use Returns Logistics inbound labels.
Outbound Orders and Buyer Returns
Fulfilling the order
Ground for day-definite cartons. Express Overnight when the listing promises next business day. International Export when the buyer address is outside the country.
Document and Parcel ShippingTaking goods back
Issue a prepaid return label tied to the RMA. Volume sellers can route inbound to a fulfillment building. Declare value if the goods still have cost.
