Invoice and Billing Help

Statements group shipment charges by account and bill period. Match each line to a tracking number, then pay or dispute from the statement — not from a random payment link.

What appears on a statement

Every tendered shipment can produce more than one line.

Transportation
The service rate for billable weight (actual or dimensional, whichever is higher) and the zone or lane.
Fuel
A percentage published for that week, applied to transportation. See the Fuel and Accessorial Guide for the current definition.
Accessorials
Named extras: residential delivery, signature, additional handling, address correction, liftgate on freight, and others listed on the line.
Adjustments
Credits or debit corrections after a reweigh, reclass, or approved dispute. They reference the original tracking number.

Pay and dispute

Payment

Use the payment method on the account (ACH, card on file, or check as contracted). Partial payments should list the invoice numbers you are covering. Account customers see live invoices after sign-in on Billing and Invoices.

Disputes

Include the invoice number, tracking number, and what is wrong (weight, service, duplicate, accessorial). Send through Contact Us with topic Billing. Keep packing slips until the dispute closes.

Billing questions

  • Why is the invoice higher than the rate I saw online?

The quote uses the weight and dimensions you entered. Reweigh or remeasure at tender can change billable weight. Fuel and accessorials (residential, signature, additional handling) appear as separate lines.

  • How do I find the shipment for a charge?

Each transportation line cites a tracking number or pickup confirmation. Open that number on Track or Shipping Labels. If the number is missing, contact us with the invoice and line ID.

  • Can I dispute one line and still pay the rest?

Yes. Pay the lines you accept and name the disputed tracking numbers in your message. Unpaid undisputed balances can restrict online print and pickup.

  • I got a past-due email that looks wrong.

Open invoices only from your account or from vandelta.com. Do not pay a link from an unexpected address. See Protect Against Fraud if you are unsure.
